Onto The Shore

Crossing boundaries feels a lot like moving from one world, one space, to another.  If loneliness, or fear, or desire,  is like water, where is the edge? Where is land?

  1. Love this colorful, lively drawing. I like this example, too.

  2. I love the shore line because it is a place where it is impossible to separate the water from the land. The sand and the water become one and at some point become two, but it isn't possible to say where. Thank you for the drawing and thoughts.

  3. this really gives me pause...to wonder about something new: when do we (I) cross the boundary from one feeling to another, one state to another? as you say, where is the edge? i wonder how we land in or find our footing! in a feeling?
i love the deeper blue under one foot and the passage from yellow-green to red-orange as one foot moves from water to land - i can feel the feeling in those marks and colors. the connection between feelings and water is so very intriguing.
